Taiwanese Mahjong in the Lounge

Never played mahjong? No problem. We're hosting a casual intro and open play session in the lounge—perfect for curious beginners and experienced players alike.

We'll start with a 30-minute intro at 11:00 AM to walk through the basics of Taiwanese mahjong. Then it's time to play, shuffle, and see what the tiles bring. Whether you're here to learn or ready to build your hand, grab a seat at the table. Taiwanese mahjong is played using 16 tiles and is different from other forms of mahjong (such as American mahjong). It does not use cards and is fun to learn!

Free to attend (donations for our instructor welcome). All community members invited.

Bring your friends, your game face, or just your curiosity. We'll have the tiles ready.
