October Cheese Club

Welcome to Europe!

This month, we wanted to share the unique and interesting cheeses from Europe. These are specifically chosen for this spooky month of Halloween. When I say specifically chosen, I mean that I had black lemon gouda and Mimolette in mind. THEN life happened and we didn’t get our black lemon Gouda. Pivot!

We chose Challerhocker instead and we hope you love the creepy guy on the front as much as we do. We met Walter, the cheesemaker, at the Fancy Food Show a few years ago. He was a pleasure to chat about cheese with and I just realized we missed an opportunity to wear our Challerhocker shirts that he gave us! Dang!

Anyway, each cheese was chosen to represent the diversity of Europe. But don’t worry. We will be sticking to our American roots. We just like throwing out a curve ball every once in a while.

As always, thanks for joining us on this cheesy journey.
